The below list has been largely debunked, but is still an interesting read. There was a HUGE rumour dump on the site theonering.net by a supposed anonymous, disgruntled GW employee. The list showed all GW models for The Hobbit and WH40K to be released next year after June up to an unknown time. Here is the Space Marine stuff: - Space Marine Scouts with Astartes Grenade Launchers, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Astartes Battle Fortress Defence Wall, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Astartes Battle Fortress Tower / Pillar of Heroes, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Astartes Battle Fortress Monastery, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Neophytes, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Techmarine with Artificer Squad, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Space Marine Tactical Squad, Plastic- box

- Space Marine Land Raider Medusa, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Skyshatter Cannon, Finecast- box
- Space Marine Gale Claw Supremacy Fighter, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Sword Brethren / Nightflame Veteran Squad, Plastic- box
- Space Marine Praetor Warmachine, Plastic- box

Just to beat Servo to it... since he does everyone else's rumors.
From Bell of Lost Souls:
Fasten Your Seatbelts boys and girls. The Space Marine Train is headed down the tracks!
via Best Pone
Up for release in September is the new Codex: Space Marines.
- There will be 7 Ltd Ed varients. 6 of these will be covers for First Founding chapters, whilst the 7th will have Black Templars on the cover.
- New weapon family: Grav weapons. I believe these wound against the armour save (so terminators would be wounded as if they had a toughness of 2).
- First Founding chapters will be getting a substantial section each to themselves, so hopefully this can be looked as as Codex: Space Marines instead of Codex: Ultramarines. This will also show in a rule called Chapter Tactics, for which the effects depend on the chapter being played.
- There is a new armour type that at first glance looks to be somewhere between a terminator and a dreadnought - looking more closely, it appears to go over the marine's power armour however. - This new armour can be armed in 2 ways, depending on the user. The devastator version has either a bolter array or missile launchers mounted on the chest armour, whilst the gauntlets can be armed with heavy bolters, lascannons or grav cannons. The assault version has a bolter array or frag launchers mounted on the chest armour, with assault drills mounted on the gauntlets.
- There are 2 new AA tanks. One tank veterans will already be familiar with as the Hunter, armed an AA missile launcher. The other tank mounts 2 tri-barreled turrets instead.
- There is a new tactical squad. Lots of options as you'd expect, but of particular interest will probably be the grav pistol and grav rifle.
- A new plastic Sternguard veteran squad.
- A new plastic Vanguard veteran squad.
- New plastic characters: a captain, a librarian and a chaplain.

I like the plastic Sternguard and Vanguard kits... Sounds pretty interesting... But I dont know why they would make new tanks when tank models are easy to kill.
As I predicted, looks like Templars will be lumped into the book... Dont know how I feel about that... except that it has pros and cons. Pros, the updates will be frequent, cons, I imagine the exotic wargear choices will be diminished. Plus we will still have to see if the different "Chapter tactics" will allow for different styles of play or if it just gives a certain ability as in previous dexes...

Love the current Chapter Tactics format now, and I am glad they are building on it. It's a good way to add variety within the mechanics of the Codex, and avoid an unnecessary multitude of SM Codexes based on every Chapter.
Can't wait to see plastic Veterans. Unfortunately for GW, I have already kit-bashed my own Vets.
Don't care about the new suits.
Although I don't care about new Tanks, I must address JD's comment "I don't know why they would make new tanks when tanks are so easy to kill". Tanks went from way-over-powered to balanced, not from balanced to useless. GW would make new Tanks because they are still a viable part of the game and probably make a nice profit for them.

@ Servo: I believe a correction is in place... vehicles went from "god like invincible chariots" to not considered "competitive," and I believe there is a difference...
Yes, it was ridiculous for rhinos to run around virtually unmolested... but its all together erroneous to say that the 6th edition is completely reasonable... In our tests the hull points showed no reasonable general would take such transport...
The rest true... although as a Templars player I am afraid of ruined fluff or the ability to play the army as its meant to be...

In our "test", you took 7 vehicles in 1 game. I was prepared for a vehicle-heavy list from you, and took plenty of missiles, lacannons, plasma, and melta. You received a shit-ton of fire on these vehicles, and they got destroyed.
I do not think this means vehicles suck or explode too easily. They took a LOT of fire, and were destroyed as they should be, instead of getting Crew Stunned 6 times each.
It still takes high-strength shots, and often quite a few them, to take down a vehicle.

Lets be honest, was I the only one who thought it odd that the Orks and Eldar were the only ones with grav technology?
Sure you could argue that the Eldar are a very old race and the grav plates seem like a future tech an old race might possess. But orks use grav technology to raise and pull down asteroids for planetary attacks!
It would seem that the Emperor would have created something similar. In the 30k game Space Marines even have jet bikes... and the Landspeeder must have some kind of gravity defying gear in it.
Like a breakfast menu at taco bell... Its about time!

As for the vehicles, you make a good point. I am more frustrated that 3 hull points wrecks a vehicle in most cases.
It raises the landraider up a peg, where it deserves to be, but it also makes light transports a serious liability.
To be fair, you do tend to have a balanced list which still has at least one devastator squad, plus other pockets of heavy weapons. Don't get me wrong, a truely balanced list is a work of art imho.
I think it was that I did not feel overwhelmed by the number of heavy weapons you had. It was to me still a balanced list, heavier than usual on the heavy weapons, but still a strong balance, I mean tactical marines were piling over the wall and you decimated me! I mean I was almost tabled!
It is probably that I need to play more games and change my strategy if I do use vehicles. With the guard list, I pretty much have no choice, as it is said a guard army without a Leman Russ isn't even a guard army.

First pics of new Space Marines FROM GOOGLE (in case GW is reading): Centurions:![](http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-IJd6ctzgyqw/UgPU2GvxqAI/AAAAAAAABcc/tcv-w_KVinQ/w500-h375-no/Ultramarines-Centurions.jpg) Hunter or Stalker ?![](http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-q-3PNAm6w6I/UgPUwWfHZQI/AAAAAAAABcI/pRPgrGO2LZM/w500-h375-no/Hunter.jpg) Centurions are a little weird. How do they move? Hunter/Stalker looks good, but why is there so much detail/bling? Is it not based on Rhino frame? Not sure how I feel.

Hmmm... I am not to sure about this release... Mini-Dreanought/Dread Knights? Hmmm... Maybe they have a place... Like non-chaos oblits... And yes how do they move!?! I feel like the designers wanted to recreate the end of aliens and then realized they would have to shrink them... Or its the remaining animatronics for a large hello kitty/barney suit after allof the fluff was burned away... The tank looks like a rhino frame... but like it was said above... there is way too much stuff on it... It reminds me of what would happen if Space Marines got together with the tornado chasers... ![](http://laughingsquid.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/tiv222-640x426.jpg) ![](http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=bWwDbdUYGJqigM&tbnid=yUPPTMUFQ72BtM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Flaughingsquid.com%2Fstorm-chasers-record-stunning-video-from-inside-a-tornado-in-kansas%2F&ei=P3QEUqr5BeGEyAG8qoHACA&bvm=bv.50500085,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNG-tUKUu1cYSe6by1JSxY-K0jBkkA&ust=1376109986384399) Course... I am interested to see what it does. Maybe this thing, has a use. ![](http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&docid=bWwDbdUYGJqigM&tbnid=yUPPTMUFQ72BtM:&ved=0CAUQjRw&url=http%3A%2F%2Flaughingsquid.com%2Fstorm-chasers-record-stunning-video-from-inside-a-tornado-in-kansas%2F&ei=P3QEUqr5BeGEyAG8qoHACA&bvm=bv.50500085,d.aWc&psig=AFQjCNG-tUKUu1cYSe6by1JSxY-K0jBkkA&ust=1376109986384399)

Those Centurions are friggin' hideous. God-awful. GW really jumped the shark this time. Seriously, they look like a herd of bitches retaining water. "Oh, Belthor...does this suit make my thighs look big?". Seriously...it's like a Space Marine walked into Heart-Attack Grill looking all slim and svelt, and after 3 hours of eating turned into Fat Albert. Jeebus, someone at GW must've been watching old episodes of Exo-Squad and said "I've got a new idea...Fat Marines!" Or, maybe they brought in a focus group of 12-13 year olds, got them all hopped up on Monster Energy Drinks mixed w/ vodka, and then dumped a crapload of bits on a table and said "Make us something new, boys!"
Seriously, have I stated enough how UGLY those things are? Servo asked "How do they move?" I'll tell you how they move. They do the Time Warp. It's a jump to the left, and then a step to the right, put your hands on your hips, you bring your knees in tight, but it's the pelvic thrust that really gets you moving because there is no way in hell ol' Thunder Thighs is gonna manage to walk lika a normal marine with that rotundish figure goin' on. One of the modelers at GW got forced into Weight Watchers, didn't he? Someone in the office said, "Blimey! Well wotcher cock, chap! Thought I'd pop on over an' let yew in on da office talky-talky. Seems someone 'as been eatin' all ov da jelly doughnuts, 'e 'as! Think yew can spot a fellow an' take a cue from Big Bertha over there an' drop a few pounds? Nuff said, yeah?" And in his little passive-aggressive way, ol' fat ass decided he wasn't the only one that would be compared to Big Bertha. Not anymore.
That's gotta be it.
BTW, if you have you guys seen the new Librarians? Ugh...the floating, fat little cherub is creepier than anything else I've ever seen. Yikes.
