The Tyrant/Swarmlord and Tervigon/Teranofex is up for pre-order on the GW site. I love that Paulson games forced GW to come out with a weapons pack! Yah... I can see some spare cash disappearing all of a sudden....

One more thing, magnetizing this beast is going to be a pain in the backside...

Yah... weapon packs... duh! I mean no wonder other companies were making bank on this. There is a serious need. Also, finally a hive tyrant pack which gives you all the stuff needed to actually make every variation possible... Besides now, gargoyles might actually be able to give the tyrant an undeniable 50% cover save, as this seems so naturally to be the unit to accompany big flying bastard... Plus with the purchase of one kit, I can use the extra bone swords to make my second metal tyrant a swarmlord... I mean, I don't know if anyone else is having a similar vibe, but its like someone in the GW corporate office has a brain...
Obviously there crack team of lawyers steals souls, but the brains I have imagined they left untouched... So where did this brain come from? I mean the tervigon spawns gaunts... meaning you have to buy more of them...
Now, will they finish the Daemon line?

>thankfully, i've got 128 painted termagants, so no worries there. but yeah, its gonna be a pain to magnetize. and a better unit choice to accompany the winged hive tyrant (which looks excellent) would be winged warriors, aka shrikes. anyways, gotta go. ttyl, guys!<

>one last model that i can think of off the top of my head is still needed to finish up the tyranid model line - the Harpy. and the special characters too, but i can live w/out those for now. least we got the Swarmlord.<

Mycetic Spores, Sky-Slashers, and Shrikes need models.

>oh, and maybe anything on biomorph upgrade packs? it'd be cool to see stranglewebs and spike rifles again, but GW probably expects us to convert our own...bastards!<

There were some weird rumors spawning months ago about a new nids 6th dex... I say weird because one of the rumors was that guants of all types were going to have a certain squad cost, but then additional models added would be close to nothing points wise...
As they are trying to get more players focusing on troop armies... It doesn't sound that ridiculous... lots of painting and such but I can see them thinking it will boost sales...
I then pause and think... isnt there already a Tervigon for that? But then look at what they did with Dire Avengers... Only 6 guants per box for the same price?
Who knows...

As this is the Flyersaddition of 40k... I would expect the Harpy to get stat boosts and make a box appearance...
Plus as they do... maybe a troop transport variation in a 2fer... (Thats my hope)
Problem is... if it is a giant winged monstrous creature, who sucks at CC then it will just be a pretty thing that gets ignored... or immediately shot down if it strays too close to a quad gun... which will be easy if its made to scale with the drawing showing gargoyles flying next it dwarfing them...

>they did the gaunt 6-pack thing a few years back. i thought the idea was actually kinda stupid. they were just the crappy gaunts that came with the BFM game. quick to assemble and paint, but obviously mass produced. and i already had a few dozen of them, so it wasn't worth the moneys.<

Current rumors say Tyranids this year, after Space Marines. Some info from LarryVela at Bell of Lost Souls, via Dakka Dakka: www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/545791.page
Sounds like good fixes for Pyrovore and Hive Guard. Hopefully the other useless units get fixed, too.
