Nope... sounds great... I want 3!!! But I would like them to be GW not forge world... ![](http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/DefaultFW/xlarge/harridan.jpg) Looks like it carries 4 Gargoyle clusters... Pretty neat! Although too bad the painted version is sans gargoyles... ![](http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/AlternativeFW/large/Harridan2.jpg) I must say, I hope that Ork Boy ate his wheaties... cause otherwise it might be a bad situation...

Dear God! That is beautiful!
That might be the best large model Forgeworld ever made.

Now seriously... thats kinda cool! Give even the nids some extra fluff! and more options of play style!! Besides that flyers are not balanced, I really like that 6th has brought more Xenos emphasis with it!
To me its like there was this executive just staring at a report... and he has his donut as he is kimming through models sold etc... then he grabs his tea... and mid sip he just sprays tea all over this spreadsheet and says out loud,"Oh Shit, we forgot the bloody Xenos!"
Just great stuff.

I am of the opinion its a badass model as well... but it harkens to d&d dragon too much... I would like it to take on a more pure tyranid look... like maybe tendrils on its face or more biomorphic features on the rest of its body.... Its stream-lined like a flying shark, when it could be so much more disgusting and awesome!!!!

>dammit, now i have to update my Hive Guards. can't they leave anything alone? is NOTHING sacred? and i prefer the old model, but i see an ugly new bio-weapon! so it may be time to update - even tho i've only had my hive guards for three years...<

Its stream-lined like a flying shark, when it could be so much more disgusting and awesome!!!! >gimme a few minutes here, Johnny, and i'll see if i don't still have a pic of the original Harridan design. epic-scale only, sadly, but much more nid-esque. and i've been bugging Ewan at FW for YEARS to bring back/redesign the old malefactor/haruspex/exocrine/dactylis/and dominatrix models (even sent some design sketches), but the only reply i ever got was basically "thanks for the input on the designs, those projects are on the back burner due to 'technical issues.'" whatever THAT meant. at the time, they were scrambling to put out the "Anphelion Project" book, which, fairly enough, introduced us to the Harridan, Trygon, Heirophant, Meiotic spores, flying rippers/warriors, and a couple smaller things. Apocalypse hadn't been written at that point, either, but i think it's high time for some tyranid tank analogs!<

And I was looking at the old Hive Guard to compare, and I like these better. But that does NOT mean you have to replace yours. Just keep your old ones.

>with the only exception being my ancient (and much beloved) biovores, i've ALWAYS updated as long as i liked the new models. i admit, i have 3 metal raveners, and both my tyrants are metal, but they're all done in the new style, so unless something better comes along, i'll probably never retire them. i WILL be getting a (plastic) tyrant to make a winged one, tho - simply no choice. the only range i never updated to was the second, horrible, tyranid army. in my opinion, the only good to come from that version was the new warriors (thank the Hive Mind!) and the CONCEPT of the tyrant guards (the models were retarded). wait, the Gaunt designs came from that as well. but the rest was CRAP. that's my two cents.<

Two things: That old harridan would be awesome at 40k scale!!! Second: I say "F-you" to gw for changing weapons on them and making them all shiny and new!! Same with Wraithguard!
A whole plastic army sounds super great and I applaud that. I do say buy whatever guants you want now because they might end up with half the sprues for the same price in the next set of boxes. If trends keep that is...
While I really like a lot of what I see... I think a Flyrant box and a bunch of hormagaunts might be my last full box purchases from GW... I really wish warriors and bikes were not so expensive... aargh!!
