I cant wait to check it out...
Supposedly the same guy who wrote the previous dex and the DE dex wrote this one... So my guess he was tired of hearing how Eldar sales plummeted after the release of that dex due to all sorts of nonsese that in an army of very specialized troops lacked the synergy it was intended to require.
The previous line is to be taken with notice that most games are played at 2000 points or below...
Yes BS4 guardians... Seriously? All that jizz-mopping really helps practice your aim aparently! But even then they should excel in hockey!
As I expressed to Servo, I simply hope units are appropriately costed, For instance Warlocks at 35 points is really fair IMHO... You do get a super cheap psycher, but he is wearing a greatful dead t-shirt and has only one wound for what a terminator costs.
On this note... I hope Swooping Hawks were either bufed somehow or dropped in points... I have always thought they were great models. It is too bad they were absolutely just that. I tried playing them many times and they simply did not perform for more than the cost of an assault marine.
The BS4 Guardian thing is just to sell models... it barely makes any sense....
Luckily I own a million of them 80 to be exact... plus storm guardians...
And thank goodness I got Dire avengers when I did.... People are going to spam these guys. I got my 20... Thats where the brakes have been applied! I would have considered 10 more for tactical flexibility, especially after playing marines, but 60.00 for 10 ARE THEY HIGH?
Anyway... Its exciting to finally get re-vamps for the armies who haven't seen a new codex in 7 years. Im just scared that orks... who are the most fun... are going to get the wrong end of the treatment...

Looks like a lot of stuff 2014... across many armies... Whats the plan for Christmas? Just hoping to bank on the large dump of releases this year?
Certainly there have been a record number... but usually companies release something big around that time... and with all the kickstarters and competition doing that how will they make sales?
Unless they are actually going to do combined model sets where money is saved... Might be interesting to watch...

Oh.. It makes sense now.
From IMDB:
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) Adventure | Fantasy - 13 December 2013 (USA)
Yup... Good call on that one Servo!!!
I really thought nothing said xmas like a green tide in the shape of an xmas tree! Guess a multi million dollar movie providing advertising is more likely...
However, unless released mid-december it might give away something from the movie... So then I say What about November??? (As Space Marines will be October)
But Bell of Lost Souls presented this possibility: ...... Mystery Box
So were you reading that top quote closely? Because the line that has the internet twittering up a storm is this one:
next month along with innocence(the 40K table game,i'm 95% certain that it will be in November
This the first reported name and report of the 40K Skirmish game we've had in weeks. Now while the Skirmish game is certainly not what I would put into the "rock-solid" rumor category, there are still older reputable sources out there who have been saying for months that the Mystery Box is coming.
On a side note, everyone has been scratching their heads over the last week regarding Games Workshop taking two key Q4 months and giving them over to Fantasy. But that decision makes a lot more sense if that second month (November) is used to launch a 40K Skirmish game - right before the Christmas shopping season.
.........
I say I like the idea, for one its a less is more skirmish game, which is great for two reasons: 1)The group seems to be wanting a less time consuming alternative to regular 40k. 2) It shows GW being market reactive in that so many of its current and true competitors are skirmish style games. I like that they are Not releasing a super mega-apocalypse to counter what is obviously a finger pointing directly at what gamers want based on market popularity.
Although, it leaves one thinking... Can GW think so small as a skirmish game?...Why were rules for this not in the main rule book like competitors?... But mostly, is such an idea one that fans manufactured or is it a very real possibility...
It seems like it could be fun... I am sure there are special rules and such... but now a days I would like necromunda or bloodbowl to come back... In San Jose they even had a Morheim(fantasy Necromunda) league which to me showed a lot of interest in these skirmish style games...
Time will tell!!!

AAAHHH! CLOWNS!!!!
This is a SEPARATE codex or supplement now. Which explains why they were left out of the recent Dark Eldar Codex.
Love the Solitaire. As usual, not a fan of the scenic bases.

>these have been available for a while on the GW website. i think they look too generic, and i'm keeping my Great Harlequin (the one i made more jumpy). it will be good to get a few more, made of plastic, though. as for the Solitaire, i hate the mask. i LOVE the shifting effect on the cloak. i may buy one someday, but i'll be changing the head somehow.<

The Harlequin video was from January. Read the list of rumors from the post after, about Craftworld Eldar.

Codex Eldar: Craftworlds![](http://www.belloflostsouls.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CodexCraftworlds.jpg) Strange naming format. Autarch![](http://i.4cdn.org/tg/1429035454851.jpg) Good model, it's in plastic, but there are no options for weapons or gear. Warlock Skyrunner![](http://i.4cdn.org/tg/1429035257667.jpg) Plastic model with bits to make a Farseer or Warlock, with all weapon options. Windriders![](http://i.4cdn.org/tg/1429035552780.jpg) YAY! It's about time! 3 plastic models in a box, all weapon options. Apparently, EVERY bike can take twin-linked Shuriken Catapults, a Shrieker Cannon, or a Scatter Laser. Yes, that is EVERY bike.
