There are some clever programmers making gaming tools for our pocket computers. I already have BattleScribe on my phone (which is FANTASTIC), but here are some other apps I have found for free:
FeedHammer - This app compiles Warhammer rumor articles from a dozen different websites and blogs. It basically just lists the article subjects and gives a link, but it is a very quick way to see the latest news without searching several websites.
Paint Pot - This app is just a list of all the Citadel paints with the ability to check them off. You can use it to keep track of which paints you need or which ones you have already. The usefulness is minimal, but it is a good start. I would like the ability to make a "shopping list" within the app, non-GW paints, and maybe even a way to keep track of which paints you use for each of your models/armies. Its cute and takes up little space.
There are also several dice rolling apps and "math hammer" apps, which allow you to calculate the average number of kills a squad will put on another squad. Don't need the dice rolling, and math hammer seems too WAAC (Win At All Costs) for me, so I don't have any of these, but I would be interested to know if anyone else gets use out of them.
Anyone else find any?

Minimal usefulness? I beg to disagree, sir! Oh, the number of times while I've been out and about and decided to pick up a few paints on a whim. But wait? I can't remember...do I still need that Skull White? I was going to order some...did I? I don't recall! Hmmmm...oh, I'l just go ahead and purchase this one little pot, it'll be fine. But later, upon my return to my humble domicile..."Great Zounds of Zeus!!! I have four pots of Skull White!!! Oh, if only there was a way for me a keep track of the paints in my possession, so that I will never duplicate a purchase again!"
Seriously. It's the shit, yo.

I definitely like it, I already went through all my paints and entered them in the app.
I just wish I was able to enter numbers or have a "need" and "have" column.
