Ok here are two of the other three squad members... work in progress... obviously little on the way of detail and no basing either: Converted gun two using special weapons arm for models left arm... Note: I had to cut a small amount of torso from the models right side... and you cannot see the gray stuff puttying in the slit on the right shoulder!!! ![](http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IzA_8IU8eBg/UjQE5ZmN1vI/AAAAAAAAAIs/cRvMIj9JEWg/w661-h372-no/20130914_013939.jpg) This was supposed to be posed as an "action pose" as if the model just saw an enemy and was raising the gun to take a shot: ![](http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-hx9XhJgyuTQ/UjQE0FMR8pI/AAAAAAAAAIg/DFpeUv752E4/w661-h372-no/20130914_013924.jpg) ![](http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-qJmwk8qurDs/UjQEtRqRFsI/AAAAAAAAAIU/OOjq_TVr4F0/w661-h372-no/20130914_013909.jpg) However I am not so thrilled at the final product. My fix will be to put a grenade in his open hand... I think it will look less weird... Again the shoulder looks good... without knowing the gun was converted it would be hard to tell... except that the pose is "kustom"!! More to come for this list! I am 50-60% through building the Valkyrie/Vendetta and of course... M Bison and The Sith Lord and Marbo(Whom no one has submitted suggestions on a new name for)... etc... oh the joy of a full docket!

I am liking the paint scheme. I have a paint scheme in mind for my theoretical IG Regiment, the Vormundan War Dogs, which is very similar. Sure glad there are no historical militaries which used gray, black, and red as their colors for people to draw parallels with!
Question: How will you paint the Plasma Guns? Will you try the "glowing effect" GW has been using on their Plasma the last couple of years? If all my Plasma wasn't already finished, I would attempt that. But maybe purple rather than blue.

Nope, no historical armies using those colors, which is so weird dont you think?! Maybe my M. Bison guy could have a small mustache just below his nose, like he keeps his grooming really seriously but hates to shave directly under his nose... It would be so charming, like a personality quirk everyone could fall in line behind... even though they are evil renegades worshiping Chaos...
As far as the plasmas... I have no idea... I am going to wait on that for the second wave of painting... after I have done more research...

The Vendetta has had a bit of a stall out... my ebay parts were "lost in the mail".... Aargh
On a good note the interior of the passenger hold has been completed, along with the gunners...
If I did not care how it looked I could just glue the rest together and not "bedazzle" the cockpit with fanciness, painting the canopy black and leaving the very interesting models to bedeck the torsos and heads of my other guardsmen... but I cannot do it:(
It will be awesome! That is for sure... at least to look at for one turn until it is blown out of the sky! But at least its cheap points wise... and when compared to other flyers, cheap cost wise as well...
It is still one of my favorite models... and honestly I kinda want a second as I do not expect them to last super long one on the table... It is a lot of modeling to put together though...

Feedback on first game 6th ed rules: They behaved much as expected. Basic troops spamming lasguns still kill things.
While they have been called flashlights, because of bs3... they still killed more than orks...
The heavy weopons were great, and as this is the troop and flyer edition of the game, I was not surprised.
Flyers being invincible... I dont buy it... though the model is great! They still die when they are the only target!
Randomly drifting death pieplates from every tank... priceless.
