Some of us have discussed this over text, but I would like to make it available to the web.
Why does GW offer groups of items at the same price as purchasing them individually? WTF? I know I can do the maths fairly well but I've only taken calculus to level 3 so maybe there is something I'm missing...
As far as I understood basic business practices, if your going to buy in bulk(not just enough to get free shipping) you should get a discount or bonus!
But in this case the bonus is the free shipping you would normally get from just buying the product outright!
I say if your not going to discount the models, at least throw in something extra! I mean at the high end we are talking 700.00$US to buy a canned set of models which most likely will require more models to make it effective...
Maybe I'm just a typical consumer, but if I'm buying a large group of models shouldn't I expect a discount?

I concur, my insulted friend. But you know how GW thinks:
"Hey, if we sell all these models as a box set, some stupid parent is going to jump at it thikning they'll get a great deal! Mwah ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!"
Yes, I find it extremely insulting. Kind of like when they released the flyers, then only provided the flyer stats in one singular copy of White Dwarf, so that when I decided I wanted an Ork Dakkajet, GW says (indirectly) "Sorry, that copy of White Dwarf is no longer available, and we won't make this info available in your codex or as an FAQ, so you have to buy a seperate codex just to get the stats". Really? You can't even just put a rules sheet in the box for the model? I have to go out and buy another codex? That would be like selling a Tau codex for $50 (or $100 if you are gullible to want the SAME codex with a different cover), then forcing a Tau player to buy a seperate allies codex just so they can utilize the full might of the Tau Empire. What's that? What did you say? That's exactly what GW did? Huh. Well, played, you fucking bastards. Well played.

Yes, they are getting cocky with what they think they can get away with. The thing with the Bundles is, it doesn't cost them anything. No new packaging or anything, so if just 2 people buy it they probably do great.
They are simultaneously catering to and screwing over newbies and rich youths/parents. And in the meantime, they are ignoring the Vets. Y
