Eldar Vs Necrons
Points: 750
Mission: Control Ground
Deployment:Pitched
Result: Tie
Turn 1
Both sides set up under the conditions of Ghostwheel winning roll off to determine his table edge and decision to go first.
After model placement, JohnnyDangerous steals the initiative, leaving the Immortal squad to his far left exposed to any long range Eldar shooting.

As seen in this first photo, even 24 guided scatter laser shots were not enough to put them down, but as that squad is still a threat, The Eldar continue their crafty pointy eared plan, bracing for another series of "WTF moments" courtesy of the new Necron Dex.
The next photo shows the events of the bottom of the 1st turn. Mainly the wraith wing, spurned by pointy eared hatred rolls into action, and the immortals which received the first volley of the game decide to get some cover before continuing their implacable advance.

These next two shots are just different views of the battlefield.

Turn 2
The Eldar Warwalker squad repositions, taking cover behind a building, which offers a good firing lane to possible incoming Necrons and the Storm Guardians and Dire Avengers circle around, both getting weak run rolls, as in the first round.
The Wraithwing(Destroyer Lord and Wraiths) moves forward, as does the regular Destroyers, in what appeared to be a "Pincher Mauever." The Necron Warriors also make a break for the objective located on their far left.

Turn 3
The Eldar foot troops move towards the objective in the middle(the dice in the middle of the table). The guided Warwalkers lay waste to the Destroyers.

The reduced Immortals shoot the B'Jesus out of the Storm Guardians and the Destroyer Lord and friends head towards the objective to make sure no Eldar can claim it. The Warriors keep booking it to the objective.

Turn 4
In retaliation for their insolence the Dire Avengers shoot up the Immortals and keep heading to the objective. Following the Storm Guardians who assault the Destroyer Lord and Wraiths only to do no damage and die horribly. (Keep in mind these are the same troops that took down a Bloodthirster.... but at these low troop counts... well 4 wounds is one thing... but nine on a unit with better saves and is almost as tough... I dont think so!)

Turn 5
The Eldar Farseer Casts Doom upon the Destroyer Lord and Guide onto the Dire Avengers occupying the building. The Dire Avenger Exarch then orders a "Bladestorm," that is 33 Shuriken(Bolter Eq) shots with re-roll to shoot and re-roll to wound, which is was just enough to remove them from play....
On the Necron side, Ghostwheel plays it smart/conservative and keeps his warriors on the objective.

The roll is made to see if the game goes on... The dice gods determine round 5 to be the end...
