But seriously, why are tomb blades modeled and pictured as looking at the ground beneath them... if your moving quickly and shooting things, it would seem more logical to look..... I dont know.... forward.
No wonder its a second wave! The first wave would have almost not sold... These models are awesome...

3rd and FINAL wave for Necrons (as reported by DJ3 on Warseer): 49-67 Orikan the Diviner 21-Jul-12 $19.25 49-68 Anrakyr the Traveller 21-Jul-12 $19.25 Sure, it is only 2 models, but it is the LAST 2 models for Necrons. They will have every basic unit and special character available*. www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?344037-June-July-Releases* Some people point out that not all weapon variants for Crypteks are available.

These models are pretty damn awesome. I'm happy to see the Necrons finally receive justice. If GW wasn't pricing things so crazy expensive, I'd start building up a Necron army. After I did a Grey Knights army, of course!

Now it goes without saying that a competent general can change the tides of many battles, however after playing against the new necrons.... they give a competent general the tools to kick A#%!! I am so happy! I mean the removal of certain restrictions, the addition of wacky but reasonable wargear, and the decrease of points... well it's all I could have hoped for!!! Ghostwheel really stuck it to me in this small but illuminating match up today... I was amazed!!
Kudos to him for learning how all of the pieces fit and making them work together amazingly, but that it was even possible shocked me a little! In a good way! They are a real force to be reckoned with! It was really cool... a great experience!
Now I have to fathom a way to really hurt them! because nothing does! Truely a great game, so much fun... I can't wait till its tourney!!

There are 4 "Army Bundles" rumored to be coming in November: Space Marines (of course) and Necrons (yay!), and 2 Fantasy armies. Cost is $260; for limited time only. Rumored contents: - 1 x Triarch Stalker
- 1 x Doomsday Barge (might instead be an Ark; there is some confusion)
- 1 x Doom Scythe
- 2 x Tomb Blades Squadrons
- 1 x Canoptek Spyder
- 2 x Warrior Squads & Scarabs
- 1 x Immortals
Here is the rumor thread from Dakka Dakka: www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/90/483354.pageNow this is a good deal, especially for GW. I did a breakdown of the deal, comparing market price of each unit, market price plus tax, the Bundle Deal, and the Bundle Deal with 25% off through Miniature Market. I should say, part of the rumor is that this deal is through Direct Only, so it might not be available through Miniature Market. Models | Market Cost | Market + 8% Tax | Bundle Cost | Bundle +25% Off | Stalker | 49.50 | 53.46 | 36.43 | 27.32 | Barge | 37.25 | 40.23 | 27.42 | 20.56 | Scythe | 45.50 | 49.14 | 33.49 | 25.15 | Blades | 82.50 | 89.10 | 60.72 | 45.54 | Spyder | 33.00 | 35.64 | 24.29 | 18.22 | Warriors | 72.50 | 78.30 | 53.36 | 40.02 | Immortals | 33.00 | 35.64 | 24.29 | 18.22 | TOTALS | 353.25 | 381.51 | 260.00 | 195.00 |
The Bundle Deal is 32% off if you add tax to the market price. Miniature Market's 25% off market price of the individual items is approximately 31% off if you add tax to the market price. So, this would not be much of a deal if it is Direct Only through GW. However, if it is NOT Direct Only, and we could get it 20-25% off at any online store, this is a GREAT deal at 49% off market price plus tax! If we can get the $195 price, anyone want to split it? I want some Necrons, but I cannot drop that much money.

I want them all.... Can't say that I'd want to share that, because I'd need it all, but maybe I'd go halfzies on another box. But it's still a lot of money, and there's no wraiths. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

*** CORRECTIONS *** The Necron Mega Force is $250, it is released November 17th, up for pre-order on November 10th from GW. I spoke to Miniature Market and the War Store, and neither are sure yet if they will receive it. Miniature Market says if they get it, they may make it available on Facebook (which I am not on). The updated contents and relative prices are below: - 1 x Triarch Stalker
- 1 x Doomsday Barge
- 1 x Ghost Ark
- 2 x Tomb Blades Squadrons
- 1 x Canoptek Spyder
- 2 x Warrior Squads & Scarabs
- 1 x Immortals
Models | Market Cost | Market + 8% Tax | Bundle Cost | Bundle +25% Off | Stalker | 49.50 | 53.46 | 34.64 | 25.98 | Barge | 37.25 | 40.23 | 26.07 | 19.55 | Ark | 49.50 | 53.46 | 34.64 | 25.98 | Blades | 82.50 | 89.10 | 57.73 | 43.30 | Spyder | 33.00 | 35.64 | 23.09 | 17.32 | Warriors | 72.50 | 78.30 | 50.73 | 38.05 | Immortals | 33.00 | 35.64 | 23.09 | 17.32 | TOTALS | 357.25 | 385.83 | 250.00 | 187.50 |
From GW, this is 30% off. If you can get it online with no tax (not sure if that is allowed) it is 33% off. Buying the individual kits from Miniature Market is 25% off, but since there is no tax it is "actually" 31% off. If the War Store offers the Mega Force at 20% off, it would equal 48% off buying the kits individually. If Miniature Market offers the Mega Force at 25% off, it would equal 51.5% off!
